Oisin Mac Aodha is a Lecturer in Machine Learning in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. His current research interests are in the areas of computer vision and machine learning - with a specific emphasis on human-in-the-loop methods such as active learning and machine teaching.
From 2016-2019 he was a postdoc with Prof. Pietro Perona at Caltech. Previous to this, he was a postdoc in the Department of Computer Science at University College London with Prof. Gabriel Brostow. He received his PhD from University College London and his BEng from NUI Galway.
