Title: *TrimBot2020 and recent research in Fisher's vision group
*Abstract: *The talk will give some highlights from the progress of the EC funded TrimBot2020 hedge-trimming project, including a video of first autonomous navigation in one of the test gardens, and first hedge-trimming. Bob will also summarise some recent work by a team of students to build capabilities with the UR10 robot: gesture recognition, body pose tracking, object recognition and action area viewpoint maintenance. Finally, there will be a brief summary of some further work on skin-cancer recognition, and some exploration of the decision boundary between the 2 classes in a 2-class deep learning image classification network.
