Dr. Stefano V. Albrecht

Dr. Stefano V. Albrecht is Reader in Artificial Intelligence in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. He leads the Autonomous Agents Research Group (https://agents-lab.org) which specialises in developing machine learning algorithms for autonomous systems control and decision-making, with a particular focus on deep reinforcement learning and multi-agent interaction. His research in these areas has been published in the top AI/ML/robotics conferences and journals, including NeurIPS, ICML, IJCAI, AAAI, UAI, AAMAS, AIJ, JAIR, ICRA, IROS, T-RO. He received personal fellowships from the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Royal Society, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, and the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. He is co-author of the MIT Press textbook Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning: Foundations and Modern Approaches, which is available at www.marl-book.com.
