Investigating the use of model predictive control and soft robotic manipulators to assist in the station keeping task of autonomous underwater vehicles when subjected to strong unknown disturbances. This research is being funded by the EPSRC in the form of a DTP Studentship award.
I graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2019 with a first class MEng in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering with International Study. The 4th year of my studies was spent at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as part of the universities exchange program. My final year project was the design and control of an affordable artificial human hand, which was aimed at providing a solution to amputees in developing countries. The development of this project is currently continuing within the Electrical and Electronic Engineering department at the University of Strathclyde.
