As part of its strategic expansion, Heriot-Watt now seeks to make appointments at Professor, Assistant or Associate Professor Level in the RAS area. Successful candidates will be located in the School of Engineering and Physical Science department. We seek candidates with an academic track record of research, able to contribute positively to our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum qualification: Doctorate
You will have knowledge and experience in the area of robotics, computer vision, Machine learning for sensor processing, computing and autonomous systems with a successful track record of obtaining external funding, as well as previous teaching and learning experience. A PhD in Robotics or related discipline is essential, along with evidence of vision, drive and determination to succeed. A confident and outgoing attitude is necessary, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
