Welcome to the UK Robotics Summer School web pages. We are organising a Summer School to take place from 2 to 6 June 2025 in the beautiful city of Edinburgh.
Overview: This is a 5 day Summer School from June 2-6 2025, aimed at developing learning, engagement and knowledge exchange within the field of robotics. This school will offer a combination of lectures, tutorials, and industry presentations, focusing on cutting-edge topics in robotics.
Location: Postgraduate Centre (PG01) Heriot-Watt University.
Participants: This event will bring together academics, PhD students, and industrialists. All are welcome to come along.
Programme:
Reasoning, control, collaboration, and learning in Robotics, Bioinspired Robotics, Generative AI for Robotics, Human Robot Interaction (HRI), Validation and Verification of AI.
There will also be a round table discussion on Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in Robotics and AI. A tour of the National Robotarium will be organised. There will also be a Summer School Dinner.

Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis so book early to secure your place. Registration costs include all activities across the week and includes refreshments and the Summer School dinner.
